I was translating U-KISS’ cross-talk in KOOL magazine a while ago, right..?
No, I haven’t forgotten about it! Nor have I gotten lazy and have given up! (Though I am pretty busy these days)
The international U-KISS fansite, Fuck Yeah U-KISS has translated all three cross-talks, and while I won’t take down the ones I have done myself, I also don’t see the point of translating the last part again.
Apologies for dropping the translation!
(Meanwhile, if you see any Japanese articles and interviews about U-KISS and want them translated into English, please do not hesitate to send them in! I’ll try my best to get them done! ☆)
A couple that is separated from one another. Never giving up the hope that they will see each other one day.
When I was younger, my mum told me that no matter where you are, you will still see the exact same starry sky as somebody who is living on the other side of the world would.
I think that connection is what this song is about.
Sharing is caring, but please take out with full credits!
University life is never too busy for Kuroshitsuji ♡
So now that the Zombie-Titanic arc is wrapped up completely, the plot is progressing into a new story. It’s too early to tell whether this is going to be a good arc or not, but the ‘setting’ certainly seems interesting…
This is the second part to my English translations to U-KISS’ cross-talk interview from KOOL Magazine. You can read my translation of AJ and Hoon’s cross-talk here.
As I’ve said, I do not own the scans I used to translate the interview, so please Google for the photos which accompanied the article!
The last segment, Soohyun/Eli, will be here… in the near future. I’m a bit busy and troubled in RL at the moment, so please bear with me and wait a little!
Please refrain from reposting elsewhere, and take out with full credits!
This interview took place during the official debut of U-KISS in Japan. U-KISS was split into three groups:
1. Hoon and AJ
2. Kevin, Kiseop, and Dongho
3. Soohyn and Eli
and was allowed to talk freely in a ‘cross-talk’. The three topics were ‘group love’, ‘fan’s love’, and ‘romantic love’.
I do not own any scans of the magazine, so if you would like to see the original photos that accompanied the interview, please check out kevriel.net or just… Google it.
So far, I have only translated Hoon and AJ’s crosstalk. I will put up the Kevin/Kiseop/Dongho segment by next Friday and then schedule the last segment (Soohyun/Eli) after that, so please come back for them later!
Please refrain from reposting elsewhere, and take out with full credits!
P.S. It appears that Hoon’s ideal girlfriend is a teddy bear.
A couple of days ago I was organising the household’s photo album, when I ended up finding my birth info-card amongst the baby albums.
I’ve always been curious about my blood type, mostly because of the ’blood type horoscopes’ hype (called ketsueki-gata, 血液型) raised in Japan and South Korea. My parents have no idea of their own blood types, let alone their daughter’s. I originally planned to donate blood during last year’s annual collection because that’s how my sister found out hers (she’s also an A, by the way).
But apparently my weight was slightly below the regulated standard and my quest ended prematurely. I’ve been fattening up since, so I was intending to try again this year.
I don’t really believe in horoscopes of any kind, though I do like to read them for fun. This website believes that there is some sort scientific basis to the relationship between personality traits and the ABO system though.
Description Inspired by the song, ‘Fuyu no Kuchibue’ by the jazz fusion duo ‘Sukima Switch’.
On a harsh winter night a young couple breaks into a fight. Luckily, all it should take for them to make up is a simple whistle… Or will it fail them this time?
Thoughts Another heartwarming, fluffy (and very short) story from the talented Sahara Mizu. She has a tendency to pick a seemingly elementary episode, like the scene of an arguing couple, and turn it into a realistic and honest sketch of human interaction. My, I’ve made this into some sort of literary criticism (though it does deserves such praise).
When you read the first few pages the story seems a bit strange, but by the time you reach the end you will realise that it’s quite a fulfilling and cute account.
I can’t whistle either. Reading this makes me wonder if getting a boyfriend will grant me my long awaited whistling debut.
“Like a panda medusa. Even so, I still won’t come to hate you”
